United for diversity in the community

WE ARE BACK!  After two straight years without Celebrate commUNITY, we are pleased to announce that we will be back Saturday 2/18/2023!

UFD Board Members Tracy Abler, Ishamon Harris III, and Jeanne Rockow attended the Women's Empowerment Series Halloween Themed Resource Fair.

UFD (represented by Tracy Abler) was one of many organizations who partnered with the United Way, SSM, and the Health Department on the COVID-19 Community Outreach Grant.   The City Council delivered a proclamation that November 2021 is United Way month to recognize the work of this group.

UFD leaders Kristel Lougher and Tracy Abler providing DEI training for Women’s Empowerment Series mentors July 31 and August 19th, 2021.

On June 6, 2022 at Veterans Park, the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes led an ecumenical prayer vigil remembering victims of mass shootings.
